If you have already seen the first three dvd's, it leaves the series as it should. Do not expect this dvd to further the story. The first episode is a summary of the first three dvd's, and the other two episodes are extended scenes of the girls past. It was a fine dvd, but the anime really ends on disc three." The main purpose of these episodes isn't so much to further the story, but make you understand the bonds that developed between Kanna, Ryuuya, and Uraha as they traveled through the mountains. At this, it does a wonderful job in allowing the viewers to see how each character ultimately changed by the time they reached Kanna's mother in the previous episodes. That said, they really are wonderful to watch, though it can be made a bit painful, knowing what happens to the travelers later on.
