This was a low budget movie, but entertaining to watch. No big name stars or special effects, but a wholesome and entertaining movie to sit through and enjoy. I'd like to see more movies along this line that count on an interesting and realistic story line and acting instead of super star power and big budgets to accomplish the same goal.

Excellent treatment of contentious subject
Robert C. Marsett | Tucson, AZ USA | 08/09/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"America 101 is a comedic but not flippant look at the complicated issue of illegal immigration across our southern border. The movie uses a light hearted approach to point out the human side of this issue. This approach lets the story speak for itself without the heavy hand of proselytizing. Well worth the time and money."
