The extremely talented actors in this movie (plus the teaser)made this a must-see film for me However, the movie proved to be awful. Basically, this story is about a really, REALLY dysfunctional family that somehow manages to becomes even more dysfunctional over the length of the production. I think Ewan McGregor is a phenomenal actor and I love, love Margot Martindale as an actor. This is a horrible film adaptation with no redeeming factors. John Wells focused on all the most negative, nasty parts of the script and excised (or the writer did) all aspects of the humor. One of the worst films that Meryl Streep has ever appeared in.
