No one goes to a movie directed by Michael Bay for delicacy and grace; you go because Michael Bay (Armageddon, The Rock) knows how to make your bones rattle during a high-speed chase when a car flips over, spins through th... more »e air, and smacks another car with a visceral crunch. Bad Boys II fulfills this expectation and then some. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence may be mere puppets amid all this burning rubber and shrieking metal, but they actually provide a human core to the endless cascade of car wrecks and gunfights. Their easy rapport makes their personal problems--a running joke is Lawrence's attempts at anger management--as engaging as the sheer visual hullabaloo of bullets and explosions. The plot is recycled nonsense about drug lords and dead bodies being used to smuggle drugs, but orchestration of violence is symphonic. If that's your thing, then this is for you. --Bret Fetzer« less
A Great Action Movie That I Am Very Pleased In Watching!!!

"... Well I finally got to see Bad Boys 2 a few weeks ago and I was very pleased. I can't wait for the dvd to come out.The movie is ACTION packed to say the least. There is action, brief nudity, a lot of cursing, violent and digusting killings, and a lot of drugs. It is not a kid's movie and I was disapointed to see how many people brought their kids with them to see this movie.Anyway, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence make a great team and yes their jokes were sometimes annoying and dry but not enough to be overshadowed by the really funny scenes. I liked the first Bad Boys film but I really feel that the sequel is much better. I would not be surprised to see a third installment. If you like action, good special effects and great stunt coordination, this film is for you. I can't wait to watch it again!"
A great popcorn flick

"Being such a fan of the first movie with its comic timing, excellent direction that Michael always brings (Though Pearl Harbor was crap) and a great score (yet is sounds suspiciously like Speed's Hmmmmmm) anyway...i was surprised to find that I loved the second one even more...and the freeway chase scene rivals The Matrix Reloaded (Yes I said it!!) I think everything was better because Will Smith had more time to work on his comic/action skills between these films, and Michael definetly knows how to play to HIS audience as does Jerry Bruckhiemer. And the camera work in this film was turned up to 11! the 360 degree shooting scene going from room to room through bullet shots! GENIOUS! I definetly can see this film spawning at least one more sequel and is the Letha Weapon of our generation....with lots more blood and a more hardcore style of comedy."
Bad Boys II- Simple, Funny and Just Plain Cool

"Bad Boys II is just one of those films you know you're going to have a great time watching. It's hilarious, action-packed and simply stunning in some places (specifically car chases). Will Smith reprise his role as Mike Lowrey and Martin Lawrence reprises his role as Marcus. Gabrielle Union comes in as Marcus'
sister, Syd. The plot of this film is simple, Mike and Marcus are investigating some intensity within the drug trade, our villan who is transporting ecstasy secretly played by Jordi Molla. Suprisingly I must say this film was rather gory, some of which was gratuitous. The car chases were the real highlights of the film, especially the highway chase with truck and the falling cars, simply unbelievable. I thought this film was a bit predictable but I still enjoyed it. Though it is 2 and 1/2 hours long, it doesn't feel to long since it contains incessant action/violence and comedy. Though this one is rather profane and obscene I began to not care about within the first 10 minutes. Now who's funnier, Will or Martin? Well I'd say they're equally hilarious. I liked this one better than the original "Bad Boys." This is definetly worth seeing in theatres,
for you'll have a great time and just laught pervasively. Bad Boys II is rated R for Strong Violence and Action (indeed very true), Pervasive Language (also very true), ... and Drug Content. The [physical] content is somewhat moderate, mainly an explicit [physical] situation and some lewd [physical] innuendo. The drug content is fairly moderate as well. See Bad Boys II, a must own when it's released on Video and DVD."
Best flick in recent years

"i got no idea what all the critics are thinking or why they even have a job. this movie got terrible reviews from the critics and why? too over the top? well for the first time in ages they made a tight action movie that was a hard R. most pg-13 movies are the same as R movies but without the blood. anyway this is a very entertaining action movie. a non stop thrill ride as all those washed-up critics put it. while definately not for the kids, if your in the mood for something that makes you all tense from the amazing action, then practiclly fallin out of your seat with laughter. i mean if you not grabbin yer seat, yer fallin out of it. great all around shooting scenes and the best, most intense car chases ever caught on film; plus hilarious jokes. you cant beat it. buy it if you like action films at all. also a must if you want to show off your home theatre setup. at least rent it if you like action, you wont regret it. it is rated R for- strong violence and action, pervasive language, and sexuality."
Bad Boys II is the funniest sequel, so, far, this year!

"Martin Lawrence and Will Smith return in their roles as the mismatched narcotics officers Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey in this hit sequel to "Bad Boys". This time, they are after a esctacy dealer, played by Jordi Molla. This sequel runs near 150 minutes long, making it extremely long, but this time this sequel doesn't overdo it all the way like another sequels have done in the past. Also returning are director Michael Bay and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, only missing this time from the producer's circle is the late Don Simpson, but it is still under the Don Simpson/Jerry Bruckheimer Films banner, which was a brilliant move indeed. Joe Pantoliano returns as Captain Howard, who gets stressed out every time that Marcus and Mike end up doing something extreme. Theresa Randle returns as Marcus' wife, Theresa. Gabrielle Union is Syd, Marcus' sister. But what Marcus doesn't know is that Syd and Mike are seeing each other. Columbia Pictures, again, the first movie's studio, is doing the sequel as well. The movie is extremely brilliant and purely smart and funny and it is better than the first one by over a mile. The music is increasingly better than the first movie's music. The story and screenplay is extremely witty and brilliant and much better than the first movie's story & screenplay. The costume and production design is extremely refreshing. The film editing is perfect. The cinematography is excellent. Go see this movie now! I mean right now!"
