Started entertaining and then fizzled. Adam Sandler fizzled on this one. Avoid!

Another great one from Adam Sandler! Reminds me of The Cobbler though. Funny, and entertaining for the entire family.

This is a WONDERFUL family movie -- great for all ages. We have 3 girls aged 8, 5 and almost 3. We can sit and enjoy this movie together, all 5 of us. It has slight humor to keep the parents entertained and is captivating for children at the same time.

Kind of lame, but my teenage sons enjoyed it. Adam Sandler is charming and funny, as usual.

My 6 year old son and both loved this movie! It appeals to youngsters and adults alike. This is the best Adam Sandler movie I've seen in a long time! Great pick for family night!

By far a sell-out on Sandler's part to try and make another $100 million hit. This movie was great in concept and poor in execution. The only funny part was when the guy behind in the theater started snoring.

Yes, parents, it is SAFE

"Yes, it is safe to take the kids to this one! The whole family enjoyed it. We had left the 14 year old at home, but will rent it as soon as it comes out so she can see it too. The message is positive, the innuendos few, and the theme is just plain fun. Even the "Paris" character keeps things mostly covered. Nice change for a 21st Century film.
The lead, though he starts out trying to manipulate life to go his materialistic ways, learns how to manipulate life to benefit all of those around him. He is just that kind of guy who never could have been the selfish fool. So, it really can be a great discussion starter for the family about morality, unselfishness, and proper behavior in community.
On top of all that deep stuff, it is just hilariously funny! There were even some applause at the end when we watched it in the theater. It has been a long time since I've been in a movie where the audience was moved to applause.

"I like Adam Sandler movies for the most part. I know they are dumb and appeal mostly to my baser qualities, but they are good stupid fun. When this movie came out I was happy I could finally watch a Sandler film with my 10 year old son. The movie is very kid friendly, but with enough Sandler shtick to keep adults entertained as well. The story has a down trodden hotel maintenance man(Sandler) who finds the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew seem to be coming true in real life. It is not the best kid movie I have ever seen, but it is cute and charming and works enough for me and certainly for my son."

Our 6 year okd daughter loved this sophisticated child/family oriented movie. Ususally in movies the dream time sequences happen to the children. Here the take is that the fantasy affects the adult. Sandler put forth anothre brilliant 'reluctant guru' performance."
