My daughter absolutely LOVES this series and I cannot recommend it highly enough! It's fabulous!!! After watching the first 3 DVDs in this series, at only three years old she can name the first four books of the Bible! She has learned SO much and the best part is that they are truly entertaining for adults too. There's nothing cheesy about these... From the creator of VeggieTales, Phil Vischer has once again created characters who are truly hilarious and lovable, while teaching highly educational concepts through their witty banter and questions. The series tackles really tough questions in a super-fun way that makes it easy for kids and parents to understand and learn something new! A few examples: "What is a Patriarch?" and "If we all look different, how are we made in God’s image?" (DVD 1), "What are the 3 tests or standards that a book had to pass to be a part of the New Testament Canon?" (DVD 2), "Pentateuch: The Musical" (DVD 3), "Why did the Israelites kill people?" and "The Cycle of Apostasy" (DVD 4), and "Davidic Covenant" (DVD 5). There are plenty of video clips on YouTube and the show's website to get a good sampling of the content. Absolutely recommend! :)

A comprehensive and entertaining overview of the Bible

"I got these DVDs for my daughter, age seven. When she was younger she loved Veggietales, and still occasionally watches Bob and Larry, and I knew that if it was from Phil Vischer, it would be a. not annoying, b. Biblically accurate, c. evenhanded. I was not disappointed. My daughter loves the show and has learned so much. I especially appreciate the fair and evenhanded way the Creation debate is explained in a way kids can understand. I plan on buying the whole series, and I can't wain to see how Phil tackles the book of Revelation."

Vischer is Brilliant!

"Both of these DVD's are absolutely delightful! As with Veggie Tales, Vischer has a definite cast of comical, yet loveable characters that both kids and adults will adore. The information on the DVD's both educates and entertains, and will be a staple in your household for years to come.



I adored these! I've been a fan of Veggie Tales for years, but What's In The Bible is not a VeggieTales knock off, it's definitely a stand alone series. And it's wonderful! Vischer is amazing. When it comes to taking something hard for kids to understand and creating something that is so much fun and entertaining, Vischer is pure genius.



These DVD's have been watched over and over since they arrived at my home, and they are still funny and still entertaining. I don't think I could even name a favorite character - they are all plain awesome!



This is an amazing series that teaches a wonderful message at the same time entertains.
