3/5 Rating - The Birds - Classic Alfred Hitchcock. The Birds special effects not see that great but it was far ahead of it's time when it came out when there was no CGI. Hitchcock's plotline is solid but slow.

Old classics never die! These two, by Alfred Hitchcock, are among the best ever and still scare me! Now both in one set make this a beautiful choice with The Birds (1963) in color and Psycho (1960) in Black and White as they were originally filmed. (That huge old house behind the Bates Motel could not look as scary in color!)
