(5 out of 5 stars)

"Me and my husband absolutely love this program. My husband especially likes the Phillipines because the people are friendly and they have good food. I like the one in Morocco, because I laugh over and over during the scene when he eats putrid meat, and hits his head with his hands. We enjoy it repeadedly."
One of the best 3 or 4 series on cable...

Fun Filled Indigenous Foods
Bethanne Elion | Vermont, USA | 02/15/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"If the network had called this indigenous foods they might not have been picked up for another season. But call it bizarre - that works! Andrew Zimmern takes us around the planet in search of what we have deemed as bizarre foods but mostly. the foods he seeks are those that have been local staples sometimes for thousands of years. It isn't just the foods and places that makes this show so fascinating - but Andrew Zimmern is just completely delightful. He is fun, honorable and just plain sweet! I have to confess that one of the things on my list of things I would like to do before i kick the bucket - is dine with Andrew Zimmern. Two of my favorite episodes are in this collection - NY and the UK. Truly delightful, educational and fun! 10 stars!"
