On the surface this movie is adequate at best. The driving force behind my luke-warm review is that we are to believe as viewers that two strong women, best friends since dirt was young, (one a lawyer, the other a teacher) are still so in love with the little girl image of the pompous idealistic wedding that they would fight like cats. Why is it that the wedding event and all the fuss about it seems to take on a bigger persona in the marriage ceremony than the groom? I blame the vapid trashy bridal reality shows that seem to be positively viral these days. That being said, there are some comical moments within the film that warrant viewing once. If pressed, I would have to say that my favorite part about this movie was the pretty pink case it comes in.

This is a hillarius movie... really enjoyed watching. Kate Hudson is as funny as her mom, Goldie Hawn. Anne Hathaway is also great, if you have liked her past movies, you'll really like this one.

Waste of talent -- both actresses are far better than this mean-spirited, highly improbable wedding caper. Candice Bergman, Vera Wang gowns and The Plaza stole the show.

This movie should definitely have been rated PG-13. It shows the two main characters at a strip show, and has many more vulgar insinuations. Language was certainly not PG quality either.
