I love me some Oliver Hudson! I was a little disappointed in this movie, but it did keep my attention even though it was slow in places.

This was a really good suspenseful book that they failed with bringing to the big screen. They did very little character development and the characters didn't react to stimuli the way they should have. I thought they cast it pretty well but other than that they missed.

This is a pretty good book to movie. It has a lot of drama that was translated well from the pages of the book. I enjoyed it and plan to watch it again in the future.

Movie Reviews
This is just a "Note to K.S. Perry" about SPOILERS!!!

"Dear K.S. Perry,
In the future, would you please warn readers of your reviews when you're going to tell the ending of a story?!! Something like "CAUTION: CONTAINS SPOILERS" is the norm, I believe.
For anyone who hasn't yet read Perry's review and DOES NOT want to know the ending, do not read beyond the 1st three paragraphs of that review."

"Having already read the book, I was expecting to be disaapointed, but I wasn't. The lead characters were true to the characters in the book and so were the supporting characters. I thought Wade was a bit dorky, but it didn't detract from the movie.
As with all adaptations, there needed to be some rationalisation of characters and it was very well done. The important aspects of the characters that were dropped were inherited by someone else and it worked well.
This is a movie that would be enjoyed whether you had read the book or not. It's easy to follow - not too convoluted and even though it's a romance, there's still some intrigue in the solving of the murder.
I loved it and would recommend it, regardless of whether you are a Nora Roberts fan."
Better than expected...

"Enjoyed this far more than Angel's Fall. After seeing AF, I thought I'd try one more NR movie to see if they were at all the same, but found CM to be far more enjoyable. So much so that I'm tempted to buy another NR movie.
The cast were good, and seemed more natural than AF. DVD quality was also very good.
Recommend it to anyone wanting to purchase a NR DVD."

"This is by far the best Nora Robert's adaptation made out of the four that were filmed in 2007. The actors were great and the story line was very close to that in the book.
The only thing that irked me were the accents. I live in the South and a promise we all don't sound so..."Gone with the Wind."
Other than that, I think that Nora Roberts should be decidely proud of the accomplishment she made with the movie."
