Huge fan of Tom Hanks but this was garbage! Avoid like the plague. The 1/5 rating was generous...

I loved this movie because it was based on true events. But, the humor and personalities of the characters are wonderful. Great job by Hoffman, sorry we lost him. Roberts and Hanks are good in this too

This true story was a surprise to someone who thought he was well informed about current events and the actions of his government. It explains why we need historians to tell us what actually happened, even in times that we lived through. The performances by some of my favorite stars were excellent as well.

This movie was extremely interesting and insightful.
Who knew and who ever heard of Charlie Wilson?
Seeing all of the 70's and 80's era costumes, music and etc.
was a hoot. Speaking of hoots, Julie Roberts played her part deliciously.
I was actually surprised that she wasn't in the movie more.
Tom Hanks and Philip Seymour Hoffman had a hilarious office scene
together that kept me giggling. You have to remember that this movie was about a very serious subject, but watching them pull off the ending was amazing.
