A very fun, silly movie with some classic performances. Ends with feel-good Christmas spirit.

I am not sure why people don't like this movie. We watch it on our Clearplay DVD, and found it to be really funny. While it is not Miracle on 34th St. or It's a Wonderful life,it is a fun movie with a plot that can be easy to sit and relax watching it even though it is outrageously implausable. So what? It's fun! Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis are great, and Dan Ackroyd is fun as the overzealous Christmas obsessed neighbor.

Is it Oscar worthy? No. But it's a fun, holiday movie with a teary-eyed ending. Gives you that warm and fuzzy holiday feeling.

One of my favorite Holiday movies. We are practically empty nesters and would love to go away instead of spending the holidays with a bunch of crazy relatives. I can really relate to this movie and love to watch over and over again.

I really enjoyed this movie. I've read the book, and thought the movie went along good with it. Really funny at times. Good watch for someone who enjoys a Christmas story with some humor in it.
