"Just so you all know, don't trust what it says for the language or subtitles. I've ordered from here before and when I play the DVD it was only ONE language- English. Also, there are NO subtitles.

I don't know where Amazon got the info, but is WRONG."
Kids aren't the only fans!

"I love Code Lyoko and I'm over 18!! I'm 23 and about to graduate from college. Both my sister and I watch the show whenever we can. Schedule issues prevent us from watching faithfully but we even had to buy two copies of this season 1 DVD because we both refused to share!

Long Live Lyoko!

Code Lyoko is a great psuedo-anime(4.5/10)
David P. Rouleau | 10/23/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I'm a fan of a lot of anime/psuedo-anime including Code Lyoko, Naruto, DragonBall trilogy, .hack//SIGN, Bleach and sometimes even Pokemon and so on.I really hate Yu-Gi-Oh and BeyBlade though, they are crappy

Code Lyoko was originally about four boarding school students who found an unlocked supercomputer at an old factory, but even better this supercomputer can send humans into a digital world called Lyoko which is like a "videogame" in which the person fights against pixel monsters, but if he/she gets zapped the person doesn't die but is simply sent back to to Earth.

The four students are a computer-talented boy called Jeremie, Odd a svelte comic relief character, Ulrich a boy who has talents in martial arts and a tall girl called Yumi who is a year older and has Japanese parents and responcible for leading the team.Odd, Ulrich and Yumi are the only people that go to Lyoko, Jeremie stays behind and works the computer

There are two sole "inhabitants" that actually live in Lyoko, a girld called Aelita and an unseen digital menace called X.A.N.A. who can, through the super computer access electronics on Earth and cause distress, he does this by activating "towers" and Aelita is able to deactivate the towers thus stopping XANA's attack. But she can not get through to the tower with out a fight as he sets up armies of monsters around them to intercept Aelita and the three students that go to Lyoko.

Jeremie, Odd, Ulrich and Yumi befriend Aelita and try to set up a programme in which she can leave Lyoko and live on Earth so they can shut down the supercomputer and end XANA once and for all.

This is the season 1 story, yeh gotta admit s1 is very repetive and most of it are fillers

But season 2 and season 3 rock as the story gets less repetitive and have deeper plot twists and towards the end of season 3 they get a new member

CL isn't very popular, only certain people like it so theres a chance you won't like it, but I love it.

anyways bye
