A lush rendition of a musical genius. It's a very American view - they don't even try to use Viennese accents - but Ed Harris does a good job of portraying a mad musical genius who learns that he really does need another person in his life, when the beautiful Anna steps in to copy his musical manuscripts. Their relationship evolves, since she has her own genius, both in music and in personal interactions. There was no notes to indicate that this was a true story, so it may be completely made up, but it is a good tale, and the music is sublime.

Diane Kruger is spectacular as always and Ed Harris was playing the role of...a pig. He did a great job playing the role but i still thought the movie was good. More or less a watch one time and you're done movie.
