The DVD offers clear, step-by-step instructions to help beginners, including clear bowing and fingering instructions and a step-by-step process in learning tunes. What is also helpful is Mr. Leftwich first plays the tune, breaks it down into components, and then puts the fiddle tune back together at the end of the instructions.
