Johnny Cash was an actor! Not quite of the caliber as his singing talents but he demonstrates in these films that he could be dramatic! By the way, Door-to-Door Maniac and Five Minutes to Live are one and the same movie from 1961! Just renamed. But there is another film on this DVD that is well worth the purchase.... Pride of Jesse Hallum from 1981, also starring Eli Wallach and Brenda Vacarro, displays Johnny's talents in both acting and singing! He is an illiterate coal miner from Kentucky who moves up to Ohio for his daughter who needs surgery. His struggles to find a job, even to renew his expired drivers license, are extremely difficult because he cannot read! Very heartwarming story!
