Not exactly what I expected from the title, but still a pretty good movie. I like Nicolas Cage so I watch all his movies. I like him as an actor, but his supporting cast was a little weak on this movie.
Some cool jacked-up old cars and lots of car chases and flips make this an on-the-edge of your seat kinda movie. If you like Nicolas Cage, you'll love this movie.

You either like this film or you hate it. This is one of those rare films where there really is no middle ground. This is an all out over the top action/horror/revenge film that exists as pure entertainment.

DRIVE ANGRY - Nick Cage makes one good movie and then a dozen crap movies. This isn't one of the good ones.Quite possibly Nick took the role to pay some of his accumulated debts. Nick escapes hell to save his grand daughter before satanists sacrifice the child to bring hell on earth. Apparently, hell is filled with muscle cars that Nick can escape in along with a magic gun that can kill demons or whatever you want to call them. That's about all you need to know. Originally shown in 3D: Gratuitous sex with huge breasted women, huge body count, cars wrecked, magic devil gun, satanists, satanists running around naked, f-bombs galore... the routine stuff. Film is a hybrid borrowing from RACE WITH THE DEVIL, any 70s car chase movie, been there - done that. Spoiler: Nick and 'The Accountant' drive back to hell in a hopped up 50s Chevy. Dialog leaves it open for a sequel. Let's hope not. Rate it "S" for stupid.
