An older movie with a powerful and emotional storyline.

Synopsis: Based on the best-selling novel by Sue Miller, an American family is deeply bonded by the stranger in their midst--a beautiful autistic child.

When photographer Nina comes home to visit her now-divorced parents, she looks through a collection of pictures taken by her father and herself and reflects on how her autistic brother's existence shaped the fortunes of her family.
