Didn't get much out of this exercise DVD. There are better ones out there.

This workout uses the Firm Transfirmer which is a step that changes from 14 inches to 6 inches and also is an incline step. The exercises use light weights and I would say this is NOT beginner. But it changes alot so you don't get bored. There is step aerobics, floor aerobics, aerobics using light weights and leg work using the step. The tops are kind of low cut. There is a beginner modification and the instructor named kind blond instructor, Stephanie is always reminding you to follow her if you are new to exercise. The workout also has a bonus ab section led by another instructor. I like that the music changes for each exercise section. The women are curvy and look like women, not over muscly and starving looking so that was encouraging to me. The set is nice and bright. I really enjoyed it.

I just did this workout today and it was so much FUN! The time goes by pretty quickly because you're changing things up with choreography and equipment. Stephanie is a great lead and the variety is nice! I haven't done a FIRM workout in years and the choreography was pretty easy to pick up again! You'd need to have the FIRM's Transfirmer to do this workout, as it wouldn't be safe to use with two step platforms placed perpendicular. Very good intermediate level workout, that I'm glad I still own!
