Rubbo the director is very even-handed yet the case that's created against Shakespeare is overwhelming. Very well done and fun." He has many interesting things to say about the "Marlowe as hidden hand" theory, now that a few years have elapsed since the original release of the film.
Much Ado About Something is a beautiful documentary with a not-so-new premise (Marlowe as author of Shakespeare works . . .Marlowe is often viewed as one of the top candidates, along with Earl of Oxford and Francis Bacon). Witty, informative, intriguing, and accessible . . .and an intellectual treat. Two new books also promote/expand upon the premise of the film.
