Basically a "Misery" ripoff, but entertaining enough to keep you wondering what's going to happen next. More "Lifetime Original Movie" then standard horror fare, its pretty tame for the MOST part. Maybe 1 - 2 semi gory parts, but 'Dead Alive' it isn't. Mischa Barton played a very good villain you wanna jump through the screen and b__ch slap...mission accomplished.
