Movie Reviews

Stright up JLH nothing fancy....

"Looking for DVD with just music on it. This is it! Song choice is good, video quality is OK. Taking into account the original recording wasn't great. I don't think they had much to work with. If you're a Hooker fan you will like this. Looking for history, stories, guitar riffs, or anything else find it else where."

"This footage is the Hooker I was raised listening to. Somewhere close to the front end there are a couple of songs with Muddy Waters and his band backing John Lee. Most of the very best stuff though is Hooker with his guitar and toe tapping. Like the other person said, there is no interview or oral retrospective here, just one of the kings and his music."
