The interactive format allows us to seee Johnny as we would never see him even in his live performances. Usually he appears shy and withdrawn. In this DVD and in the audio interview that follows you actually get to know meet and love the person 'JOHNNY". Sure you hear and see what a gifted person he is and how handsome he looks and WHAT A TOTALLY COMMITTED PERSON CAN DO WITH A GREAT TALENT. What to me is even more incredible is that inspite of those gifts what a wonderful [down to earth] and nice guy he is. This comes through again and again. Do I,recommend this DVD, yes to every lover of music and to every father and mother because raising a son like him would make every parents dream come true.To boot you get 90 minutes of a performance from a man who has been committed to his craft for 46 years and has loved every minute of it."

"Here you'll find a lively treasure of the American Song. It is an impressive longevity what features this singer's long time career. His all-time greatest hits are all here - Chances Are, Misty, It's Not for Me to Say, and so on. What made me remove 1 star was the video production scheme which sounds false when people are interviewed by a telephone call and asked to choose their best-loved song by Mathis."

"This DVD was fabulous! Once it started I couldn't leave it. Not only does it have Johnny singing all his hits, but also it was a forum to learn more about Johnny as a person. This is a DVD I will always treasure and watch many times!!"

"I don't know how Johnny Mathis keeps his wonderful voice.I hope he doesn't mind singing the same old songs over and over again, in the same exact way when we listened to the Mercury and Columbia LP's.I'm just thankful that he does it now on dvd so that when I hear those certain songs [we all have our favorites!] I can really appreciate him and his orchestra.Like one caller on the dvd said "[your voice is] better now than it was 30 years ago".Audio and video are excellant.This is a nice dvd...get it."
