"The biography of Julia Child was very good. I wanted to see if the movie, Julie and Julia, followed pretty closely. It did! Loved the movie, btw. :)"

"If you are on any level a fan of Julia Child, this is a "must have." It is warm, charming, entertaining, and very beautifully narrated by Michael Murphy. Her life is a fascinating one, and her exuberance for living is inimitable. Worth the cost just for Murphy's reading of a birthday sonnet Paul Child wrote for Julia before they married.
How like autumn's warmth
Is Julia's face
And how like summer's heat
Is her embrace
Wherein at last
She melts my frozen earth
Beautiful."
