""You have the right to remain unconscious, anything you say ain't gonna be much". My favorite line from my favorite Lethal Weapon movie, said by the great Mel Gibson. Gibson and Glover have incredible chemistry, and part 3 of this series is definitely up to par and then some! I have all 4 of the movies on DVD, but I've watched this one more times than any of the rest. I remember going and watching it at the movies back in the summer of '92, hard to believe that it's been 10 years now since this movie's release. Richard Donner is truly a master at his craft, and continues to come up with great ideas for his movies. Joe Pesci is hilarious, he is in top form in this one. His addition to the fold made a great series of movies even better. The plot of the movie is basically centered around the boys trying to bring down a former cop named Jack Travis who's gone bad, really bad. Along the way is the usual sensational action, drama, and comedy that you've come to know, love, and expect from a Letal Weapon movie. I love it, and would recommend it to anyone who loves a great movie. This is my fav out of the 4, with the other 3 being a very close 2nd. If you are looking for the total package out of an action flick, then look no further. In my opinion this one is the best of the best. If you've never seen it, watch it. If you don't own it yet, what are you waiting for?!"
A waste of time, space and life.

"How far the mighty fell. The first film in this series was an amazing take on the tired cop genre, finally giving the world a protagonist cop who was not some boring stoic or wise-cracking good guy. Riggs was dark, disturbed and suicidal. By the third installment the whole tone of the films changed to this mindless dreck. If only one could excise the last two Lethal Weapon movies."

"Lethal Weapon 3 comes fast and furious but mostly importantly it delights everyone with wisecracks, action, and camaderie. So if you want to continue with the buddy cops watch Lethal Weapon 3"

"Los Angeles police sergeant Roger Murtaugh and his partner, Sergeant Martin Riggs, arrest Billy Phelps for trying to rob an armored truck, this being just 8 days until Murtaugh is scheduled to retire. In the interrogation room, Billy is murdered by Lieutenant Jack Edward Travis, a vicious former cop who now sells guns that are stolen from evidence storage facilities. The investigation of Travis teams Riggs and Murtaugh up with Sergeant Lorna Cole of the Internal Affairs Division. Leo Getz, who is now a legitimate real estate agent, gets involved when he sees Travis's face on a paused videotape then says he recognizes Travis. Riggs finds himself falling in love with Lorna. Later, in a shootout against a street gang, Murtaugh kills a gangster who turns out to be Darrell Smithers, the best friend of Murtaugh's son Nick. A guilt ridden Murtaugh later tries to drink himself to death, but Riggs helps him realize that they must go after Travis, the man that Darrell's gun came from. Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, and Joe Pesci are back with director Richard Donner for the third installment of the Lethal Weapon Saga, this time joined by Rene Russo. Just like the first 2, this movie has plenty of comedy and a lot of amazing action. This is a very enjoyable adventure.

Good movie, but not as good as the others.

"Now don't get me wrong, this movie is deffinetly a good and entertaining movie to watch. It has good action and a lot of comedy, however it is probably the worst one in the series. Lethal Weapon 3 seemed to tone down the movie series quite a lot. It doesn't have the same dark and erie feel as the 1st two do. I know it's rated R but it seems more like a family "budy-cop" movie than the raw and gritty 1st two of the franchise. The ending isn't that great and Riggs seems to have lost almost all of his Special Forces training and fighting like you saw in the 1st two, ESPEICALLY at the end of the 1st one. If i had to rate tem I'd rate them
Lethal Weapon = 5 stars
Lethal Weapon 2 = 4.5 stars
Lethal Weapon 3 = 3.5 stars
Lethal Weapon 4 = 4 stars
It's deffinetly worth seeing and watching but my suggestion is watch this 1 first so that way when you see it you wont be as dissapointed."
