Some of the Christmas songs were good and Linda Eder has a voice similar to Celine Dion BUT the choir was not great and distracted from her greatness.

"You must be considering purchasing this DVD, I received it today, which means you know there is no finer vocal performer than her for you wouldn't be on this page, so give yourself the best Christmas/Hanukkah gift you can, watching Ms. Eder performing live in your living room. I promise you it will be the ultimate gift you receive, watching and listening to the world's finest artist and a woman whose voice and appearance can never be comapred to anyone.

The Holiday season started early for me because I couldn't wait. I was fortunate enough to see her holiday concert last year in Chicago and this DVD brought back such wonderful memories. To see her perform these holiday classics in front of a sold-out audience who gave her countless standing ovations during most of her songs, wiping their eyes from the beauty of her voice, I got that feeling again today watching this DVD and had the same emotions. I KNOW you will too! To see her even cry from not a holiday song but "If I Had My Way", wiping her tears away, apologizing to the audience...that "bonus" on this DVD makes it worth every penny. Enjoy this even more...watch it on your PC for you can truly see the beauty of this concert. I'm on my second viewing already, and again, what a wonderful gift she gives to us by releasing this DVD and what a wonderful gift you will give yourself (buy a box of Kleenex also) for Santa came early this year."

"Thank goodness for Bravo! I just happened to be watching the Bravo Network one afternoon and saw a documentary on Linda Eder. She was a virtual unknown to me, but her drop dead gorgeous good looks got my attention. Then I heard this Amazon goddess sing and that was it for me. When I heard they were going to broadcast her Christmas concert, I tore through the house to find a blank tape.

I have never been so blown away by a single performance in my life. Ms Eder has the capacity and awesome talents to break your heart and make you enjoy every second of it. Her interpretation alone of the classics of Christmas had me in tears. No one has ever moved me to that degree with a performance. This woman is a natural and national treasure. I honestly can not understand why more people don't know about her or why she does not get the same degree of airplay like Celine or Cher. Compared to Linda, they are hacks.

I have been trying to find this concert on VHS or DVD for three years now. What took them so long? Everyone owes it to themselves to get this concert in their homes. Aside from hearing Christmas carols you love, she includes the heart rendering love ballad "Vienna" as well as a tribute song for post 9/11- "If I had My Way". Once you hear those and the remarkable "Gold" you will be crying your eyes out like I did. Put this one on your shopping list- it is a must have!
