Slowburn and solid crime drama starring Doc Martin's Martin Clunes. A must watch!

Martin Clunes admits he's never had any interest in shows like this, either acting in or watching them. This story though, based on recent events of a serial killer in London, caught his attention, and he found himself wanting to play the part. The actual DCI Colin Sutton was on hand throughout the filming, which took place on the actual sites of the crimes committed. So, the authenticity is very credible, nothing glamorized, just the humble and committed footwork which eventually yields results. The production team only had 3 episodes to fill, and so had to cherry pick the best parts of the account to portray. A few years back, these events terrified several communities in London (especially if one happened to be a blond female.) An engaging watch!
