I love movies based on real-life characters and animals, so this was a win-win for me. Great family entertainment. I highly recommend this movie. The family's oldest son is a gun-sniffing dog handler in Iraq and gets killed so they send home the body and the dog, which the family begrudgingly adopts. The father hates the dog, the younger brother seems to have a connection with Max, the dog, but there are issues. Then the fun begins! I won't give any of the rest of the movie away...just watch and be amazed at the dog training involved. 1 of 1 member(s) found this review helpful.
