Especially, when the box sets & series collections costs so much back in the day. Of course, now they don't even have samplers anymore. T.T But, I digress.
Maze, from the Slayers team, does have a lot of the same feeling however, the zaniness is sorta off kilter. Not to mention, it trys WAY too hard to be cute. The damsel-in-distress princess is so over-the-top sweet, you'll get a toothache. The hero/heroine Maze is either a confused girl who you really can't feel for by day or a sex-crazed lout you don't care for by night. It's like Ranma 1/2 meets The Slayers. |
