Nine Months is about an unexpected pregnancy involving Hugh Grant, a child psychologist who loves his red Porsche and his girlfriend (Julianne Moore) who announces she is pregnant. An overbearing pair of friends played by Tom Arnold and Joan Cusack, offer their own version of advice while a close buddy, Jeff Goldbloom plus a nutty Russian GYN (Robin Williams) throw in their two cents worth to add to Grants characters panic about the pregnancy and eminent parenthood. Hilarious romp well written and performed! The Truth About Cats and Dogs stars Janeane Garofalo, Uma Thurman, and Ben Chaplin and a hilarious case of mistaken identity when Garofalos character, a veterinarian, with her own radio talk show makes a date with someone who thinks she is a tall blonde so decides her neighbor, Uma Thurman, will fit the description and things go downhill from there but in a very funny way! |
