Movie ReviewsExcellent intro to Marty's video work Stephen J. Snyder | Lancaster, Texas United States | 12/02/2008 (5 out of 5 stars) "I've read some of Marty's outdoor writings before, including one of his books. Saw this 4-DVD set, and it was well worth it.
Just on the one DVD I've seen so far, the "North Country" one, I got both slow spped and normal speed extended chases of snowshoe hares by lynx, and then, on the second half, two wolverines battling, along with a wolverine chasing not one but two wolves off a deer carcass. This is all high quality video production too, and in great places. Far northern Minnesota for the lynx and Montana's famed "Bob," the Bob Marshall Wilderness, for the wolverines. AND, both in winter. No need for you to wait for me to review all for DVDs in the set. Get your own!" |
