Movie Reviews

Hey!

"Where's the motorbike perched on the front bumper of the RV? Where's the steerable satellite receiver (don't wanna miss out on the soaps)? Where's the towed SUV (complete with tin boat on top)?

You can see these mobile "towns" travelling in convoy all across the country.

Is it sick, sad or both?"
Good documentary.

"This is nowhere, DVD.

I liked this documentary. The people in it are genuine and they speak their mind. The DVD appears unscripted which allows some of the RVers' biases to show forth, but hey this is America, the land of free speech.

This DVD presents only a specific segment or sociological view of RV life. It's not very diverse. It's mostly about Wal-Mart and the RVs that park there. But it does a great job with this subject, and this DVD is worth seeing.

The original documentary looks like it was done in 2002. Since then there are books/listing that tell you which Wal-Marts allow, AND DON'T ALLOW, RV parking over night. Not all the Wal-Marts allow overnight parking.

Buy the way, I shop at Wal-Mart all the time.
