"CONTENTS of THE OUTLAWS 4 Movie Pack:
DAY OF THE OUTLAW-- Wounded army outlaw's gang takes over a frontier town. Normally antagonistic cowboys and ranchers organize a mutual resistance. Classic TV sitcom fans will probably recognize in the cast Ozzie and Harriet Nelson's oldest son (Gene- gang member), Ginger from "Gilligan's Island" (Helen), Patty Duke's dad (Preston), and Chief Wild Eagle of "F Troop!" (Denver- gang member).
MOLLY AND LAWLESS JOHN-- Premise here parallels the true-life events of later film, "Mrs. Soffel," with Diane Keaton and Mel Gibson. The neglected wife of a town sheriff is attracted to an imprisoned outlaw, and he convinces her to aid his escape.
THE PROUD REBEL-- A boy traumatized by the Civil War has gone mute. He and his father travel the west, seeking a cure. They're befriended by a farmwoman, who finds a way to communicate with the youngster.
THE YOUNG LAND-- John Wayne's son in his first starring role. Dennis Hopper is a gunslinger who without provocation kills a Mexican man. His court trial polarizes the town along racial lines. Well-done examination of prejudice and minority rights.
A fine companion to this collection is the CIVIL WAR STORIES 4 Movie Pack, also from BCI / Eclipse.
BRENTWOOD's 4-fers are nicely priced movie bundles. Video and sound quality of these digitally unrestored public domain films is generally fine. Discs are dual-side recorded.

""Day Of The OutlawBurl Ives plays a wounded Army outlaw whose gang takes over a sleepy frontier town. Robert Ryan seethes as the cynical ranch-owner who joins antagonistic cowboy and rancher parties to combat the outlaw chieftain" from the editorial review and customer review. THEY EVIDENTLY DIDN'T PLAY THE MOVIES OR READ THE COVER OF THE ALBUM. I BOUGHT THIS FOR DAY OF THE OUTLAW AND IT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE COLLECTION!!!!!"
