This is a marvelous inside story of World War II; George C. Scott is Patton! The movie captures history, warts and all. The battle scenes and scenes inside military headquarters are well done. The political crap endured by the military is spot on. I'm so glad the makers of the film knew their subject, Patton, so well and were faithful to his life and to his larger than life personality. 2 of 2 member(s) found this review helpful. Shirley R.
