THE PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS is a horror classic. I've always heard that, but now I know why. Wes Craven, also part of the SCREAM team, directed this. Craven's mind has to be a scary place and I'm sooo happy it is!

You know that spooky house down at the end of the street or on top of the hill? The one that your mother always warned you about? Well, here it is, in all it's demented glory.

"Mom and Dad", an incestious brother and sister team, who are in search of the perfect family. They routinely kidnap boys and girls from the neighborhood for this purpose. One girl, Alice, has learned to survive by brutal obedience. The boys however, don't fare so well. Their offending body parts, the eyes, tongue, ears, hands, etc. is cut away and then, the boys are locked in the basement, becoming cannibalistic mutants.

Add to the mix, two robbers and a young black boy named Fool and you have one tasty, gruesome tale. I loved it!! For me, one of the highlights was "Dad" galloping down the halls in his black leather fetish suit. Wild and kinky stuff.

Look up THE PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS. You won't regret it!!
