A successful restaurant owner and highly popular chef, Ralph Pagano, is the guinea pig for a fun and challenging contest in which Ralph must earn enough to pay his way home. He is dropped off in various locations and finds his way to an eatery to make use of his talents as a chef and earn a few dollars (or Chinese Yuan, Czech Koruna, Mexican Peso, or the Euro) to buy a plane ticket to get back home. Along the way we meet interesting people and appreciate foods from around the world. If he fails to earn enough he must pay the penalty of eating some really gross items like a rodent, stinky cheeses, or disgusting bugs.

John DeTringo | Tampa, FL | 06/23/2008 (5 out of 5 stars) "Maybe it's because I am an Italian who's roots are from NY, but Ralph Pagano and his humor keep me(and my 12 year old son) coming back to watch all of the episodes. He gets dropped off in all sorts of remote lomocations around the world and has to earn money to get back home. If he doesn't earn enough money he has to eat some local "delicacy" as punishment(rodents, HOT peppers, ants, maggots, etc.)."
