These final installments of the Prophecy series were both filmed back-to-back on location in Romania, although I got the feeling that the A Team left the set after Uprising. Sean Pertwee is so good in his role that he saves everyone around him. Unfortunately, he does not make it to the fifth movie and we are left with subpar actors and story. It's not so much that the story concept is bad, but the dialogue and scene writing don't help much in Forsaken. Kari Wuhrer seems to be appropriately cast, until they start giving her more lines. By the time Forsaken begins, the exotic feel of Romania is lost as all of the characters make the viewer feel like the movie is taking place in America. If you've seen the first three, you might as well close it out with these two, but keep fast forward handy for the fifth movie unless you are truly dedicated to the franchise. 0 of 1 member(s) found this review helpful.
