Being an older film from a lesser company, the picture quality is not the best, but for wholesome family entertainment without all the smut that is in a lot of films today, it is great and gets two thumbs up from us! The story isn't that original, boy meets horse, boy ends up with horse, but its still got its own unique twists & it is deffinately one of my top favorite horse movies.I love that the boy is Indian and knows more about horses instinctively than the guy that takes him in. (who owns the horse) Finally a horse story about a horse that isn't black or bay or a pally! I strongly recomend this movie to any horse lover.
