Movie Reviews

The REAL Story....You got to be kidding me!

"I found a copy in a retail bargain bin and bought it out of curiosity. If you can find a copy for $5 or less, it's worth the price for sheer comedy relief. If the teams portrayed in this program actually exist, I'm amazed there aren't more fatalities during real tactical operations. The narrator continued to brag about how SWAT teams are well trained while you watch the virtual circus of ineptitude on the screen. For the sake of all that's holy, I hope this DVD remains MIA and out of stock."
Misleading

"This DVD promises "Real footage of SWAT training and SWAT action," as it says right on the front cover. One is lead to believe that there would be actual footage of actual SWAT team members actually entering scenarios that they were trained to deal with and maybe actually engaging in actual gunfights. The only actual action that occured on this DVD was the training scenarios. Those were completely genuine (or at least seemed to be that way, but on this DVD, who knows for sure.) The only "Real SWAT action" that the DVD delivered was nothing more than 4 or 5 different scenes acted out by what I hope were real SWAT members, because their acting was horrible. The different scenarios take place in a 'COPS' type fashion with the camera man riding in the back of the squad car, and after the first two minutes of the first scene, you realize that you have been had. I was completely disappointed in this purchase and I will be sure to check and see if this company is on the label of the next DVD I buy."
Honestly?

"Do you honestly think they're going to show you real footage of swat teams entering real scenarios....most likely not, and even if they do, it would be from far away...they're not gonna risk some camera guy gettin in their way.

Also swat teams are NOT even remotly like what you see in movies..the majority of entries and raids never even involve a single bullet being shot...its just not realistic. If you wanna see lots of a firing and whatnot go to blockbuster n rent the "hollywood" made SWAT...but dont expect it from a documentary."
