Best Scribble Jam yet...
Jamin | Portland, Oregon | 06/14/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Scribble Jam 04 has some of the best scribble jam battles EVER!! Mac Lethal killed every round but ended up losing to illmacualate in the finals. illmac is a local 17 year old from here, Portland Oregon, my home town! He surprisingly beat Swann in the second round and later took out Franco in the Quarter Finals, on his way to Becoming the 04 Champ! Every single battle was enjoyable!

The DJ finals came down to Brace vs. Scratch Bastid (03 Champ) The B-Boy finals was also great! This DVD is full of every facet of Hip Hop! Brother Ali performs 'Champion' and 'Forest Witiker' Eyedea and Abilities also perform. If you like Underground Hip Hop and battles this is a must have...

"The largest hip-hop festival on either side of the Mississippi actually takes places in the heart of the Midwest. It's in Ohio of all places, and showcases not just one, but all the elements of hip-hop as they are meant to be. This DVD is filled with Scribble Jam 2004 highlights that will keep even the oldest heads entertained. The event spans over four days, starting on a Thursday and fading with the sunset on Sunday night. It's called Scribble Jam and if there is one event that can capture the true essence of hip-hop, this is it.

Scribble Jam has turned into a cultural melting pot of people who embody every element of hip-hop. They come from all over the world for the opportunity to network and showcase their art.

Scribble Jam brought some of the best battles EVER! See the clash between two top Canadian DJ's - Brace and Scratch Bastid battle it out in the finals. Also after 36 contestants, the 2004 pool of MC's came down to Mac Lethal (Scribble Jam MC 2002 Champ) and Illmaculate, a 17-year-old MC all the way from Portland who was competing for the first time. It's was a battle between old and new, but in the end, youth prevailed and Illmaculate walked away with $2000 and the title as the youngest MC to win in Scribble Jam history. Divided by a brand new piece of linoleum, b-boy crews battled it out during the day. The 2 final b-boy crews set it off at sunset in an extremely heated battle.

The highlight DVD of 2004 Scribble Jam is packed full of DJ routines, breakdance battles, emcee battles, beatboxing, graffiti and live performances by the best hip hop acts of today!"
