How else could you explain the style of delivery. I think by definition that people who are motivated to learn a second language are not idiots - please don't treat us that way. I would not describe the DVD as particularly effective, but in its favor it doesn't sour you to learn more (somewhere else). I have heard CDs that almost made me want to quit learning spanish - at least this DVD does no harm. I just wish it did more good."
