A TASTE OF ARMAGEDDON
Often people mention the fact that Star Trek was more than just a Science Fiction show, it was a social commentary. This episode demonstrates that idea very well. The plot reflects the fears and hopes of the 60s. Although it isn't a very dramatic episode, and doesn't have a ton of character interaction, it is still an interesting episode from a historical and social perspective.

SPACE SEED
This is the one everyone should see... at least everyone who has ever seen or ever wants to see "The Wrath of Khan." This is the "prequel" although at the time they didn't know it was a "prequel." It is an interesting episode... tad slow in some places, but overall well done. The ending statement that Spock makes is ironic and more moving when one knows how everything pans out with Khan later.
Definitely a "MUST SEE" for any Star Trek fan.
On a sillier note: I love the fight scene with Kirk and Khan... they didn't even TRY to hide the fact that they were using a stunt guy! You can see "Shatner's" Stunt-Man's face clearly in several shots. It's funny.
