Get past the beginning and you will love this true story jewel! It will give you greater appreciation and respect for our disadvantaged. Quite the breakout role for Claire Danes, you won't even recognize her in this. Danes and David Strathairn shine bright in this. An absolute must watch!

I had never heard of Temple Grandin before watching this movie. What an inspiration!!! The cover says...Autism gave her a vision. She gave it a voice. Claire Danes is EXCELLENT in this very inspiring and heartwarming without being too mushy. Don't forget to watch all the bonus features too. It's amazing how much the real Temple and Claire look alike.

My family loved this movie. We gained a huge respect for
Temple Grandin and her family. Temple is just amazing! As always our appreciation goes out to all livestock farmers because they work so hard. I am keeping my copy to enjoy watching it again soon.

My son is autistic and this movie helps to understand what he might be going through in his mind. and it is easy for me tell someone else to watch it to understand more about what and why my son does things. Great movie Clair Danes is amazing.

Excellent for any age... based on a true story... we saw Temple Grandin in person and she said herself that this movie is a good representation of her life as a youth.

This is a great movie. If you know her story, this so captured her experience as an autistic, and her incredible mind as a visual thinker. Claire Dane does a superb job as not-the-norm person without overacting this part, which would have been easy to do. Some of it, how she is treated and how the cattle are treated, was hard to watch but neccesary and handled with truth but not absolute stark realism. Everyone should know this story. When you watch, look for the line, "where do they go?" Excellent question, Temple!!
