"I love the Temptations. I ordered that dvd because the front cover shows the original Temptations. I was so very disappointed that it was only with Otis and Melvin. I do like the Temptations with Dennis, however the dvd cover was very misleading. The back on the dvd showed a small picture of the temptations with Dennis. I believe that the customers should know that the dvd is NOT all of the originals with David Ruffin. Overall, I like the concert."

"I first began loving the Temptations when they were the classic original temptations who would grace the Washington, DC area regularly when I was only nine. I also saw them in Maryland at the Shady Grove Music Fair a few times with both David Ruffin and Dennis Edwards. My brother and I spoke with Otis Williams at one of those meetings. My brother, Reginald divulged to Otis that "She always puts you last, man!". Otis promptly told me "Aw, you know that's a drag." I was so mad with Reggie for telling Otis that I put him last in ranking the group BUT today, HE IS THE LAST TEMPTATION living and I have to think maybe I spoke prophetically. NOW...with regard to this DVD "Live in London", I was upset that the cover shows all the original Temptations but what you actually get to see is the 1987 group. Dennis has a bad dental job and looks like he's desperately trying to keep his teeth in yet he does a good job as much as he can at this age. THE SAVING GRACE is the fact that Melvin Franklin is there with Otis and Melvin talks a lot. He's so sincere and precious so I think I'll keep the DVD. They even start singing Old Man River without Melvin and he comes out featured with one of those fashionably late entrances. I don't love it but I do like it for that reason. If it were the Original Classic Temptations, I'm sure it would have been more than FIVE STARS but for the above reasons, only 3.KS"

"I think this was tricky because the only reason i ordered it was because i though david ruffin was in it like it is showing on the cover.False advertisement if you ask me! David is not in it at all!"

"I was totally disappointed with this DVD. I agree with M. Branch in that the cover photo is misleading via a snap shot of the original Temptations. There will never be another group of Temptations except the originals. The concert is just okay to me. I thought this was an old concert that included Paul, Eddie, David, Melvin and Otis. Again, I agree with M. Branch that "the customers should know that the DVD is NOT all of the originals with David Ruffin."
