Movie ReviewsClassic Cult Film Pen Name | USA | 12/01/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "This film is a typical 1930s potboiler Western of the singing cowboy variety. What makes it special, however, is the gimmick of its all-midget cast. Beyond the gimmick casting is the star of the film. Billy Curtis, who plays the hero Buck Lawson in the film, had a significant Hollywood career. In the early 1950s he starred with George Reeves in "Superman and the Mole Men" and in the early 1970s starred as the character Mordecai in Clint Eastwood's "High Plains Drifter." HINT: if you want the "Terror of Tiny Town," get this version and not the one entitled "Great Wacky Western Comedies." If you get the "Wacky" DVD, you'll get saddled with two awful made for TV clinkers. One of which is the Bob Denver stink bomb known as "Dusty's Trail." Get the Alpha Video version for just "Terror of Tiny Town" and you won't be sorry." Little Triggers Tom Without Pity | A Major Midwestern Metropolis | 06/28/2009 (3 out of 5 stars) "This all-midget musical western starts off with a bang and then, like most of these types of turkeys, gets mired down in almost the same way a serious drama can be mired. Except this vehicles' hubs are set a little lower so the misery is somewhat tougher to spin out of. In fact, it's impossible to get out of. On the other hand, the musical performances are bright, chirpy and likely to hurt your ears if you are sensitive to high pitched squeaky noises. In short, I recommend this little entertainment. It is especially enjoyable if you doze off right after the opening titles and wake up just in time to go to bed for the night." Terror in a tiney town Thomas E. I am a Wizard of OZ Collector, and I found it interesting to watch all the midgets that were the munchkins in the 1939 movie "The Wizard of OZ". All of my Grandchildren watched this movie with my wife and me, and found it to be a fun evening for the family. I have addeded this movie to my Wizard of OZ collection. It is fun to go back and see what actors played what parts in the Wizard of OZ movie. Example, the cook in the movie played the Mayor in the OZ MOVIE. Thanks Tom"
