(Snibot) from DALLAS, TX Reviewed on 8/17/2011... THANK YOU! That is my letter to Walt Disney Corp. "Thank you guys!" It would have been nice to have a sequel to one of the greatest movies of all time sooner, but it probably wouldn't have been as good. The story was well written, and acted, I like the use of color through the film. There was an interesting use of CGI, which caught me rather off guard, in a good way. This was my first movie with Garrett Hedlund but he really took the lead role in the movie well, it is hard to not be overshadowed by a presence like Jeff Bridges, but he really held his own. The new characters are fascinating, and the old ones put a smile on my face with the bow to the original. I really recommend you clean off space in your collection - this is not one that you are likely to be getting rid of. 1 of 1 member(s) found this review helpful.
