A Bizarre Love Triangle

"Unspoken Passion" (WaterBearer Films) is another fine film from the Philippines.
As children Enzo and Adong spent hours together and this continued through adolescence. They share a very strong bond of live. Enzo, the more effeminate of the two and is secretly in love with tall and strong Adong and seems to always have been. Adong breaks Enzo's heart when he elopes with Melay and leaves Enzo. Enzo began to search for his friend. About five years later Enzo begin to work in the sex trade of Manila and gains a good clientele. One night, he has to do an onstage live sex scene with a boy he has never met and it turns out to be Adong. The first sexual coupling between the two turns out to be public. A bizarre love triangle ensues.
The Philippines has had many gay themed films made there and the world of Manila appears to have a large gay presence. Aside from Enzo and Adong we have a colorful cast of characters and we get a view of gay Manila that many of us have never seen. This interesting look at gay life is one that stays with you.
Some of the characteristics of Filipino cinema are once again seen here--the flamboyant older man that hires young boys and the young Filipino dancers some who are in reality straight but this is how they make a living.
We watch an almost perfect friendship change when the two are forced to go their separate ways and we learn that love is the most important gift of all.

"Good and Bad. the main actors were to busy trying to not show frontal nudity that is got in the way of the story. i think the director (darkended ) to many of the sex scenes and it really ruined the movie.
if the actors are not willing to show nudity, then it should have been recast. Antonio's Secret is a good example of the actors dedication to what needs to be done, to do a good movie.
again, this is ok, but you know in real life the MEN would be showing full nudity in this situtation. again, i credit the directors choice of
actors for this flaw.
still this was worth a 3 stars for all of the other actors in the film."
