"I completely agree 100% with the person who said this was money well spent! 4 DVDs for the price I paid? Doesn't seem logical, but it WAS a deal, and we took it! You want to see everything Larry-Boy that is out? Well, look no further. And I wanna tell you something. My daughter is a sucker for a purple suit with plunger ears! Now, what do you really get out of all this? We got 4 DVDs as I said, and I'll list them below.
#1; Larry-Boy and the Fib From Outer Space: Not exactly the start of Larry-Boy in general, but the first Larry-Boy episode. It is simply about Junior, and how a little lie turns into a big problem. The question is, can Larry-Boy actually do anything to stop this problem? I think this is kind of signature Larry-Boy, because my wife and I hadn't heard of any other episodes but the cartoons, and this one. Riley, our daughter, loves the theme song by Nicole Mullen!
#2; Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed: This would probably be our daughter's personal favorite out of the whole 4 pack. It is simply about a rumor that Junior Asparagus and Laura Carrot get going when confronted by a suspicious looking weed. "Did ya hear the one about Alfred?" Things get a little hairy, and some things grow to huge proportions in this story. Our daughter personally LOVES what I'd call "The Rumor Weed Rap". She just be-bops about when that song goes, and she thinks it is the coolest!
#3; Dave and the Giant Pickle: OK! Now, yes this is VeggieTales, yet it where Larry-Boy begins. It is where Larry isn't feeling very special, and Bob tells him a story about a boy named Dave. Yep, this where Larry-Boy first started, and look at him now! He is that hero!!!
#4; The Cartoon Adventures of Larry-Boy: This is something different, and it doesn't have any special features. But to make up for it, it does feature all 4 Larry-Boy Cartoons, and they are all really good! The 4 cartoons are entitled, "The Angry Eyebrows", "The Yodelnapper", "Leggo My Ego" and "The Good, the Bad, and the Eggly!" All 4 of these are really good.
What we all learn with Larry-Boy is that sometimes we need a hero. In reality, there are all kinds of people who are looking for people, whomever they may be to be THAT hero. So while it entertains our kids and teaches them valuable lessons, let's try and be heros to our little ones! Are you THAT HERO?"
Everything Larryboy

"All of the DVD's in this pack are terrific! Dave and the Giant Pickle is a great story. It's funny, and based on the Bible story, "David and Goliath." It also has a lesson in self-esteem.
Larryboy and the Fib from outer space is hillarious, and I always watch it again and again. When a friend of mine borrowed it, I wanted to watch so much. The best part in it is when Archie Asparagus, (Or Alfred. That's what he's called in the show.) pulls back in his chair, not knowing that the cord for the computer is wrapped around it. Just as Larryboy is going to be attacked by the Fib, the computer turns off. Archie screams, "Boot you transistorized tormentor, boot!" It's one of the best lines in the whole show. This show has a lesson in honesty.
Rumor Weed has a few multiple-meaning word jokes, and a lesson in the power of words. It seems that a lot of people gossip now a day, and just as it says in the show, the things people gossip about can spread like a weed. Also, one of my favorite lines in all of Veggietales is on this one; Archie says, "I'm not a robot, I'm British." I don't know why I find that funny, but I do. Most people don't.
The last disc has all of the cartoon Larryboy adventures. I don't think they make the Cartoon Adventures of Larryboy anymore.
But that doesn't mean they're not good. Actually, they're not good. THEY'RE GREAT! Just watch one, and you'll want to watch another. Awful Alvin the onion and his sidekick Lampy the lamp are hilarious! (Even though Lampy can't say anything, he's still funny.) And the Alchemist is funny too. His mom is his sidekick,
and still calls him his childhood nickname; Cubby.
These are all great shows, and everyone but the cartoon adventures has a great audio commentary. Some of my friends say that some commentaries on other movies that aren't Veggietales are boring, but the ones from Veggietales are much better."
Money well spent!

"This collection has been on my 4-year old's list of favorites since it arrived five months ago. The good thing is, I enjoy watching them with her. Having the four CDs in one package, we have lots of enjoyment for a great price. Having the 2-D cartoons is nice, and it introduced us to new villains and new superheros. This is a fun way to teach or reinforce lessons about teamwork, egos, anger, and other subjects that help good kids grow up to be great adults. As the mother of a true VeggieTales fan, I must recommend this one!"

"MY grandchildren visted from calfornia this summer and they had never seen a veggie tale movie before. THEY LOVED IT!!!! They did not want to watch anything else the whole time they were in my house. (2 weeks) I noticed that they also learned the lessons that were being taught. I also enjoyed it emensley. The rumor weed had clean humor for adults as well. I cannot sya enough this is a wonderful set for believers and non believers as well. It also speaks to all faiths."
More Larryboy than you'll know what to do with!

"This is a great pack of Larryboy! It inclues Dave and the Giant Pickle, where Larryboy makes his very first appearance; Larryboy and the Fib from Outer Space, Larryboy's first "full length" adventure; Larryboy and the Rumor Weed, Larryboy's second adventure; and all the Larryboy cartoons. This is an affordable way to have it all!"
