Well, the Wicker Man remake was worse, anyway...

"Venice Underground (Eric DelaBarre, 2005)
I'm having some problems getting past the feedback loop on my head where this awful, awful movie is concerned. My brain is simply refusing to get past the line "it's like an episode of Baywatch where they forgot to include the beach until the last scene." Yes, folks, this movie-- despite sporting a surprisingly high-powered cast of B-movie and TV actors-- really is that bad.
There's a plot about undercover detectives and gangland drug wars, but I won't insult your intelligence by recounting it here. I'll just express mild shock that such folks as Edward Furlong (American History X), Randall Batinkoff (The Curve), James Duval (Donnie Darko), Jodi Lynn O'Keefe (Nash Bridges), and above all Danny Trejo (xXx) were so hard up for cash that they had to make this turkey. I really didn't think I'd see a worse movie last weekend than Hood of the Living Dead, but this topped it. (half)"
"Venice Underground" tries to make it above ground!

"Decent cast, some action and a so-so story. This movie is great to watch if you live someplace that is cold and gets snow."

"Well, i can't really review the dvd received, since i got a disc error when i went to play it , so it's basically useless to me.I had gotten the same disc error result when i had rented it from local video store;I was hoping that by ordering it , and buying it I would get one that worked, but apparently there is something wrong with that particular titled dvd."
