Movie Reviews

Good but slow-moving
Frederick Christian Franck | MD | 07/02/2006
(3 out of 5 stars)

"I loved "Night" and really looked forward to spending some more time with this great man. At 108 minutes, though, it seemed like an eternity. Unfortunately, the Holocaust information is already familiar. The people "back home" are very reluctant to talk about the old days, and when they do speak they seem to have an attitude of non-responsibility. It's a bit unnerving knowing what we know about how civilians assisted in the rounding up of Jews and quickly moving into the vacated houses. Good narration by Hurt; additional interviews are very interesting."
